This villa was built in the 18th century, situated on a small seafront square in the centre of Vis town. The villa is styled with eclectic furnishing. From the front windows there is a beautiful view of the sea. It is close to restaurants, shops, bars and fish market. Only a short walk away there is a lovely pebble beach and the tennis courts.

Villa Vento consists of two houses. The main entrance is from the seafront square – a staircase leads to the open plan first floor with the living/ dining area and the kitchen.

On the second floor (attic) there are two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. From the kitchen area there is an entrance to the terrace with the dining table and the lounge area. The paved garden with orange and lemon trees is the extention of the property with the second house that has two double bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms. In both houses one room can be turned into a twin bedroom. The room on the ground floor opens directly to the garden and the first floor room has a lovely balcony. This villa has a private svimming pool.

The property is air-conditioned throughout.

It has wi-fi, a tv and a washing machine.

Absolutely blown away by this gorgeous villa. It’s in a fantastic location set just back from the main promenade, with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Beautifully designed throughout, combining old and new perfectly - the charm of the old building, modern architectural finishes, vintage furniture and cool artwork (much of it local). Of course we spent much of the time outside and it didn’t disappoint. A gorgeous pool, dining area and we loved the large hammock in a shady corner. Lots of different areas to sit/sunbathe/relax in very stylish surroundings. Everything had been thought of inside and out to create a wonderful guest experience. We would all return in a heartbeat. Note: There are quite a few steps and level changes which might not be suitable for some, and although we were with children, they were a bit older and perhaps the house and pool wouldn’t be as suitable for little ones due to its design/steps. We loved it though.

Villa Vento is stunning! We loved its position one block back from Vis harbour - we could walk to Prirovo in the morning for a swim, go to the bakery, fruit & veg stall then back to the villa to see out the morning's heat by the pool. The rooms are beautifully done and there is so much space to relax - the downstairs den and a gorgeous sitting room ..or outside on the terrace. We used taxis to explore the island's beaches in the afternoons - the swimming was wonderful and there are some sandy beaches and mostly pebble beaches too. The atmosphere in Vis in the evenings is lovely - you can watch the yachts come and go and there are lots of places to eat and drink. Kut (the old town) is close by to explore and from there we walked to Grandovac Beach. Ice cream shops are amazing and we went to the open air cinema one evening which was wonderful! Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Loved having the pool lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. We were 4 persons staying in the villa and we had plenty of space and privacy. Right in the middle of town. Easy to walk to restaurants no taxis needed. We walked from the port with our cases to the house which was 5 mins. Complementary gin was a nice touch. Supermarkets near by. Took a few boat trips. I would look into this before the trip because getting to and from the island is expensive. Ferry times don’t match up with flight times. Did a yoga class class in restaurant Lola which is a few minutes walk from the villa. Also ate at this restaurant for my birthday. Restaurants in the town and Kut town is 15 mins walk away. Reasonably priced. Had a day trip to Hvar beach club which was lovely. Would definitely stay at the villa again. Very sad to leave.
